Learn more about The Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna's Circumpolar Biodiversity Monitoring Program (CBMP), an international network of scientists, government agencies, Indigenous organizations and conservation groups working together to harmonize and integrate monitoring efforts and data collection.
These efforts will facilitate more rapid detection, understanding and response to significant trends and pressures.
Monitoring efforts will produce long-term, publically accessible data sets that will help the international community understand the natural variability in Arctic ecosystems and how these systems respond to human stressors.
CAFF has established the following expert monitoring groups to develop coordinated plans that improve the ability for scientists and community groups to detect and understand changes in Arctic ecosystems.
Data gathered from CAFF and PAME is made available through the ArcticData portal, where you can access information on Arctic species, ecosystems, and human activities.
